Danny Boyle's SUNSHINE Advance Screening...

I was able to catch an early screening for "SUNSHINE" last night. This is the new film from director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland. I'm a HUGE fan of "28 Days Later", which these two previously teamed up for as well. As I mentioned way back in January, I was eager to see how Boyle would do a sci fi movie. I will say that he did a pretty good job. Lots of great space visuals, sounds, good dialogue, and an almost perfect cast...I'll come back to this. When you first read the plot of this film, I think alot of us automatically thought about that movie Armageddon. Basically yes, for most of the movie, this could be considered a smarter "Armageddon","Deep Impact", or "The Core". While watching it though, you are of course reminded of "2001","Solaris",or even "Alien" at times. The special effects in this are top notch and really make you feel like you're right there in the ship or floating along side it. Now, as far as the cast goes, it was 99% complete for me. For some reason Chris Evans, who plays the character Mace here, and Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four movies, doesn't fit in the mix for me. I can't really pinpoint why, but he didn't seem natural for the part. As for the last part of the film, I knew there had to be some kind of plot twist coming up, but I wasn't really expecting the one that is thrown at us. I'll say that the writer Alex Garland is pretty much to blame for this. For me, it pretty much ruins the spectacular movie that it was in the beginning. I am not saying that it is not worth seeing at all. But I just wish that they would of come up with something a little more original and less Hollywood.
Watch a great video below of Boyle and others talking about how they filmed in and out of the space suits.

It's so nice for me to have found this blog of yours, it's so interesting. I sure hope and wish that you take courage enough to pay me a visit in my PALAVROSSAVRVS REX!, and plus get some surprise. My blog is also so cool! Don't think for a minute that my invitation is spam and I'm a spammer. I'm only searching for a public that may like or love what I write.

Feel free off course to comment as you wish and remember: don't take it wrong, don't think that this visitation I make is a matter of more audiences for my own blogg. No. It's a matter of making universal, realy universal, all this question of bloggs, all the essential causes that bring us all together by visiting and loving one another.

You must not feel obliged to come and visit me. An invitation is not an intimation. Also know that if you click on one of my ads I'm promised to earn 8 cents for that: I would feel happy if you did click it, but once again you're totaly free to do what ever you want. I, for instance, choose immediatly to click on one of your ads, in case you have them. To do so or not, that's the whole beauty of it all.

I think it's to UNITE MANKIND that we became bloggers! Don't see language as an obstacle but as a challenge (though you can use the translater BabelFish at the bottom of my page!) and think for a minute if I and the rest of the world are not expecting something like a broad cumplicity. Remenber that pictures talk also. Open your heart and come along!!!!!
