Independent Label Group (ILG) Announces Partnership With Ferret Music

Under the agreement, ILG will work hand in hand with Ferret Music across its various business units, including recorded music, publishing, touring, artist management and merchandising. In addition, ILG will provide full access to its infrastructure, including individualized marketing and promotion services.

Carl Severson, CEO of Ferret Music, said, "Ferret's new partnership with ILG will enable us to continue to take all our endeavors to the next level. We've worked with artists for the last 10 years on a label or management or touring basis -- growing with them. This is a new step for us that will enable us to step up all our efforts for our bands and present them with even more opportunities. We're building a home that our artists will feel comfortable being a part of for years to come."

The Muska Gets Thrown Out on the Street.....

It was kinda odd to see skater/dj Chad Muska's name pop up when scouting the net for "newsworthy" news. Yeah, I know what you are saying: "this is newsworthy?!" No I guess not, but I used to do a little skateboarding back in the day(well I tried to anyway)and as someone who likes to keep up with what is going on in that sport-this caught my eye. BouncedChad was sent outside for being drunk, but he went back in to get his dj needles and thats when the bouncer picked him up and put him back out.

I still had to post about this----Mels Statement-----I'm not saying that this guy is a terrorist for getting a DUI---Yeah, it's really stupid and selfish to drive drunk, but I just hate it when people blame their actions on the alcohol. It's like the girl or guy who cheats on their significant other and says it's because they were wasted. The alcohol just brings out your true feelings.----So what do you guys and girls think?--Is his career over--or will we forgive and forget as soon as his next juggernaut of a movie comes out?
