Legion of Doom Update

The very talented masher-upperers Legion of Doom have started a new label! "The Legion of Doom's own Chad Blinman is a partner in the new indie collective Functional Equivalent Recordings, which launched this fall with two big releases:

RADIO METHOD, the debut album from REAL SPACE NOISE, is a synthesis of indie rock, new wave, industrial music and science fiction film soundtracks into a post-modern, retro-futuristic soundscape of angular electronic pop. Real Space Noise is Chad Blinman (programming, voices) and Steve Ashburn (keyboards, guitars). Some songs on the album feature vocal performances by Trever Keith (Blinman's TLOD cohort) and other guests. Get Radio Method here.

ONE PERCENT PANIC marks the return of VIVA DEATH. Led by former Face to Face bassist Scott Shiflett, Viva Death also features The Legion of Doom's Chad Blinman and Trever Keith, Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), and Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle). Their long-awaited second album builds on the Viva Death triple-baritone-guitar sound, taking the listener to unexpected places while still delivering the intense energy Viva Death fans have come to expect.
